Welcome to The Coffee Perch, where our journey began as a quest to support a life filled with travel, connecting with new people, and serving exceptional coffee. Yet, what started as just an idea, has grown into a captivating story of resilience, innovation, and a unique perspective on life. 

 

At the helm of this venture stands someone who defies convention. I've been registered blind since birth, and while it's not the sole definition of who I am, it often takes people by surprise. My condition, Optic Atrophy, has left me with very limited sight—just 3 in 60, to be specific. However, what I lack in sight, I make up for in vision. 

 

Throughout my journey, I've had few conventional jobs. Due to my disability, learning and mastering skills took more time and effort, but once I did, I held onto them with unwavering determination. When I secured a position as a waiter, it brought its own set of challenges, but I saw it as an opportunity to bring a fresh perspective to customer service and problem-solving. 

 

Then in 2020, the world faced a swift and overwhelming pandemic. Jobs were swept from the feet of many, and I was no exception. Fortunately, I was surrounded by a support network of friends and family who stood by me. 

 

Fuelled by a passion for great coffee and a desire to own and run my own business, I worked with my family to launch and nurture a unique mobile coffee company. After gaining my SCA Barista Qualification and industry experience, The Coffee Perch was born. 

 

The Coffee Perch and I have come a long way since then. We've transformed The Coffee Perch into a well-oiled, mood-enhancing machine that embodies strong values and ethos, reflective of my own. Our mission is to make the most of your precious time while savouring exceptional coffee. We've recently introduced the Coffee Perch Mini mobile coffee bar. Together, we're pushing boundaries and elevating the standards of our caffeine-infused conversations.
